The Southwest Voter Registration Education
Project (SVREP) is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit, nonpartisan, tax exempt
organization committed to increasing the participation of Latino and other
ethnic communities in the democratic process. SVREP has conducted over
1,000 voter registration and education cam-paigns
in approximately 200 communities in the states of California, Arizona,
New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming,
South Dakota, and
Washington. SVREP has grown to be the
largest operation of its kind in the U.S.
It
receives no federal, state or local funding,
rely-ing solely on support from the private sector. |
